Franz Romero

Franz Romeo is primarily interested in creating flexible constructions that are extremely mobile. He attaches great importance to quality of detail and the consistent implementation of the design concept. He studied architecture at Winterthur Technical College and ETH Zurich and completed his training at the Institute of Architecture and Urban Studies in New York. He presented his first furniture prototypes in 1982. He considers furniture design to be "micro architecture" and values the freedom restricted only by the anatomical elements.
